Our Mission Statement

We strive to be the Reflection of God's Perfection through a Life of Discipleship, Service and Joyful Proclamation.

Welcome

A warm welcome is extended to all visitors and friends.

We invite you to come to our Sunday Service and do consider joining us if you are in search of a spiritual home.

Our services begin at 9am.

Our Church is a Parish church located at 2910 Avenue M, Brooklyn, New York.

We can be reached by private or public transportation.

Our doors are open to people from all backgrounds who wish to join us.

We are part of the Archdeaconry of Brooklyn which belongs to the Diocese of Long Island. Finally, we are members of the worldwide Anglican Communion whose titular head is the Archbishop of Canterbury. An elected vestry is the governing body of the parish charged with fiscal and administrative responsibility and care of the Church and Rectory.

Our Covenant

HAVING BEEN LED, as we believe, by the Spirit of God to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and having professed our faith at confirmation, we do now, in the presence of God and the whole company of heaven, most solemnly and joyfully enter into this covenant with God and one another, as one body in Christ.

WE ENGAGE therefore, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love: to strive for the advancement of this Parish in knowledge, holiness and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, disciplines and doctrines; to give it a sacred pre-eminence over all institutions of human origins; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the Ministry, the expenses of the Parish, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the Gospel throughout all of the United States and other Nations.

WE ALSO ENGAGE to maintain family and personal devotions; to see to the religious education of our children; to seek the salvation of our family and acquaintances; to walk circumspectly in the world; to be just in our dealings, faithful in our engagements, and exemplary in our deportment; to avoid all gossiping, back-biting, and excessive anger, and to be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Savior.

WE FURTHER ENGAGE to watch over each other in sisterly and brotherly love; to remember one another in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling, and courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation, and mindful of the rules of our Savior, to secure it without delay.

WE MOREOVER ENGAGE that, if we remove from this Parish, we will as soon as possible, unite with another Parish, where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s word.
